This gorgeous Fredericksburg wedding was one for the record books! The Inn at Fredericksburg Square was the perfect location for these two lovebirds who grew up in this city, met in this city, fell in love in this city, and eventually bought a HOUSE of their OWN in this city! It was only fitting that Chelsey and David had a “downtown Fredericksburg” theme throughout their wedding day! From the perfectly curated invitation suite by Twila and Co, to the centerpieces named after popular Fredericksburg streets; Chelsey expertly integrated the city she adores into her wedding day!
Chelsey and David were a couple we felt immediately drawn to! Every time we met with them leading up to the wedding was filled with endless laughter and easy conversations! It is the BIGGEST JOY of this job that we get to work with couples we LOVE! At our last meeting before their wedding day I remember asking them what photos were the most important to them, or what Wes and I call, “The Must Have Photos”. To which David replied, “I don’t have any, I just want to get married!” With the biggest grin on his face!! And this just about made my heart exploded because you could FEEL how excited he was to marry Chelsey! I love seeing a couple that just can’t wait for their wedding day!! Not only that, but Chelsey was basically her own wedding planner and skillfully crafted the perfect timeline..making our jobs even easier!! (Thanks again, Chelsey!)
One of my favorite parts of this wedding day was meeting Chelsey and Davids friends and family. EVERYONE was soo welcoming to us and made us feel like we were old friends! We were having so much fun Wes and I actually jumped in the center of a dancing circle and let loose for a good…3 seconds before getting back to work! Hahaha (Sidenote: dancing is my JAM, so it is hard to turn down a dancing circle if they are playing a good song…which they were!!) Just look at the fun dancing shots below and you can feel the energy in the room!
Chelsey and David, you have surrounded yourself with an INCREDIBLE support system. Wes and I love ya’ll and wish you a LIFETIME of love, laughter, and new adventures!! xo
