Hailey & Jasons blush spring time wedding on the eastern shore was nothing short of amazing! The ceremony and reception were held at The Bayfront Club, a brand new venue located less than 30 minutes from downtown Baltimore with breathtaking Chesapeake Bay views!! But it wasn’t the location, the dress, or the florals that made this wedding day one for the record books…it was this brides story of strength.

Hailey and Jasons story is one of both hardship and victory over cancer, car accidents, and tough goodbyes to loved ones. As a young college student Hailey was in a freak car accident in which a house came crashing through her front windshield, pinning her inside the vehicle and slicing open her head. When paramedics arrived they were not sure she would make it and told her family to prepare for the worst. As if things couldn’t get worse, when the surgeons were operating on Hailey, they noticed stage 2A Hodgkins Lymphoma. In a twist of fate, it was nearly a blessing in disguise to be in such an accident because if not Hailey and her parents might not have caught the cancer until it was too late. The paramedics and doctors were able to save Haileys life and that fateful day went on to shape Hailey into the most genuine, supportive, loving, and kind person I have ever met. Seriously, this girl is incredible sweet and loves to deeply. There were many moments Wes and I teared up during their wedding day. Hailey just radiates beauty and once you look at these pictures of her you will be able to see her authentic joy for yourself!!

Both Hailey and Jason have over come more hardships than people their age should have to bear but they are both stronger and better together because of their past. A favorite quote of mine has always been, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, life is about learning to dance in the rain!” And I truly believe that if it had rained on this couples wedding day they would have danced the whole way through with the biggest smiles on their faces and arms wide open!! It’s love like that that inspires me.

I could go on and on about this day. The vendors, the decor, the venue…. but I really think these images speak for themselves. Enjoy this gorgeous labor of love!! I just have to point out the Grooms Grandfather that not only got up to the garter catch but BOXED out all the other men and had the cutest grin on his face the whole time!! I was cracking up the entire time!
